THE GREAT BRITAIN THEATRICAL PRODUCTIONS OF GREAT BRITAIN COMING TO KEFALONIA FROM THE ANTENNA GROUP

The award-winning program “NT Live”, which is being promoted with great success at the Athens Concert Hall, comes to Kefalonia at the Argostoli Municipal Theater “O Kefalos”, which belongs to the network of affiliated halls of the Antenna Group, with the support of the British Council. 
The ANTENNA Group has secured for the 2019-20 season a screening program with magnificent theatrical performances of “NT Live” from West End theaters that have stood out over the past 10 years, with Greek subtitles .

The beginning is with, William Shakespeare ‘s flagship work .

Oscar nominee BenedictCumberbatch (Sherlock, The Imitation Game) stars in the eponymous Shakespeare epic tragedy. The leading theatrical production, which saw over 750,000 spectators, will be screened at Argostoli Municipal Theater “O Kefalos”, on Saturday 7 December at 20.00 and on Sunday 8 December at 18.00 .

The show tackles issues of politics, power and ethics over time, and is directed by internationally renowned British Lyndsey Turner, who was honoured in 2014 with the Lawrence Olivier Award. Turner has worked with many theatres in West End and Broadway, as well as with the Royal National Theatre of England and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.
