FRANKENSTEIN

Danny Boyle directs Benedict Cumberbatch and Jonny Lee Miller. The Antenna Group in collaboration with KED.KE. connects the audience of Cephalonia with the theater center of Europe and presents Mary Shelley’s novel based on Nick Dear’s work, “Frankenstein”. Directed by Oscar-winning Danny Boyle (Trainspotting, Slumdog Millionaire), Benedict Cumberbatch (Hamlet, BBC’s Sherlock) and Jonny Lee Miller (Elementary, Trainspotting) alternate between the roles of Victor Frankenstein and his creator.

With the innocence of his childhood, but with his monstrous appearance, Frankenstein’s puzzling creature is turned into a waste universe by a horror-ridden creator. Encountering cruelty wherever he is, this increasingly desperate and vengeful Creature decides to locate his forger and reach a frightening deal. The scientific responsibility, the neglect of the parents, the cognitive development and the nature of good and evil, are entangled in this fascinating and creepy classical musical work.
