As highlighted, the benefits to local economies and employment will be particularly significant, as the prospect of finding an average of 120 million barrels will mean the creation of 300 new direct jobs and another 1,000 indirect jobs. During the 25 years of production, the social product estimated to be produced is estimated at € 3 billion (€ 120 million annually) while annual State revenue is estimated at € 200 million and € 20 million will be directed annually. in local government and a total of 4.1 billion euros will be allocated to support the country’s insurance system.

ELPE executives also emphasized that the researches planned by the company will follow the strictest environmental standards and will be executed in strict compliance with all the obligations provided by Greek and European legislation.
