Not one, not two other 42 people were identified by men from the Central Port Authority of Patras, who were to travel illegally to Kefalonia.

When checking on board the ship bound for the Ionian Islands, it was found that the “travellers” had forged documents.

Forty-two (42) were arrested at noon by officers of the Central Port Authority of Patras.

Specifically, in an audit carried out at the northern port of Patras, before the vessel departing for Sami Kefallinias, the above held and displayed false travel documents.

The aforementioned documents were seized by the Central Port Authority of Patras conducting the preliminary investigation.
