409,000 more passengers at Greek airports in the first two months of 2019
In particular, 4,237,786 passengers were traveled, 408,904 more than in the corresponding period of 2018.
The total number of flights to Greek airports amounted to 42,972 (of which 25,274 domestic and 17,698 foreign), showing an increase of 11,3%, compared to the corresponding period of 2018 where 38,617 flights were made.
In February only 2.075.663 passengers (+ 11.8%) were transported to Greek airports. The total number of flights amounted to 20,330, showing an increase of 11.3% compared to the corresponding period of 2018 where 18.261 flights were made. The arrivals of passengers abroad reached 549,411, showing an increase of 12,9% compared to February 2018, when 486,424 passengers arrived.

The largest percentage increase in passenger traffic in the first two months of 2019 was due to the airports of Kefalonia, Milos and Mykonos.
Kefalonia Airport increased 61.7% (6,062 passengers in the first two months of 2019 compared to 3,748 in the same period of 2018).
Milos Airport recorded a 59.7% passenger traffic increase (traded 3,971 passengers compared to 2,486 last year).
+ 58% increase in passengers had Mykonos airport as it traveled 13,370 passengers in the first two months of 2019 compared to 8,462 passengers who had moved in the first two months of 2018.
