Saturday 22 October : The ramblers kick off the 22/23 season with a walk near Razata

Our first Ramble of the season will be on SATURDAY 22ND OCTOBER starting at 10.30 a.m. and will be close to the village of Razata.
The duration of the Ramble is no more than 2 hours and is easy to moderate.
DIRECTIONS: Take the road around the Koutavos Lagoon and turn right at the traffic lights following the Sami Road.
After the I.KTEO (MOT Centre) look for a shrine on the right hand side, turn right here. Someone will be standing at this turning. This road leads to the Cyclopean Walls of Krani. Continue until you come to the Church of Profit Ilias, there is a large parking area here.
Our Ramble will be on tracks, mostly flat with just two inclines one slightly longer than the other. Some of the track is quite stony, so stout shoes required.
For those who wish to visit the Cyclopean Walls a short detour may be taken. This is a circular walk and will be led by Kathleen and Robin.
The Family Grill in Razata has agreed to open for lunch, something that they do not usually do on Saturdays. Would you please contact me on via Watts app or SMS if you would like to have lunch after the Ramble. We would like to make it worthwhile their opening.
