A visit to the Olive Museum of Pylaros and at the same time a trip to an earlier era, 50 to 60 years ago.

We have visited this place and its well worth a look around and will be even better if you watch the video beforehand to give you some of the background to the way of life and equipment you will see.

An excellent video with full subtitles in English

Short documentary short documentary. It was created during the school year 2017-2018 by the pupils and students of the 6th grade of the Primary School of Pylairos Kefalonia.

A visit to the Olive Museum of Pylaros and at the same time a trip to an earlier era, 50 to 60 years ago, when the museum area was a traditional horse-drawn oil mill. Students come in contact with the way a traditional olive press works and, with the help of camera and cinematic narrative, outline the mill’s everyday life through the narratives of an old Lithuanian.
