Travelers returning to the UK from Greece will not be exempt from quarantine rules due to the coronation pandemic . This was stated, among other things, by the British Minister of Transport, Grand Saps.
Greece will be on the “red list” of countries for which a 14-day quarantine period will be applied, according to Sapps, who spoke to BBC Radio 4.
According to the British Minister of Transport, Greece will not, at least initially, be on the list of more than 60 countries for which no quarantine will be imposed on travelers when they return to Britain.
“Greece will not be on the list in the first place, because its government has announced that the next review of their own systems will take place on July 15. The reciprocity cannot come before July 15 for Greece, and that is a matter for the Greeks, “Saps told BBC Radio 4.
The British government is expected to announce the full list of countries that will be included in the “green” and “red” list, perhaps within the day. Travelers from these countries, which will not initially include Greece, will not have to go into self-isolation for 14 days when they return to Britain.
