We were surprised to learn from a post by Mr. Charalambos Makris, creator of the “Radio Museum”, which is housed in the building managed by the Chamber of Kefalonia and Ithaca in Argostoli, that “at the request of the Mayor of Argostoli” the museum was immediately asked to remove exhibits from building.To date, no issue has ever been raised with the removal of the “Radio Museum” from the Chamber building, nor has any decision been taken by the relevant council.
On the contrary, the council of the Chamber has voted unanimously for its operation and its stay. While at the same time it has financed this museum with money from the professionals of our islands.
Given the above we ask:
- There should be no movement of the Radio Museum
- Immediate convening of the Board of the Chamber in order for the President Stavros Spathis to clarify and give the necessary explanations to the elected and competent members of the Chamber who have no knowledge to date.
