Coronavirus: 1,211 new cases – Increased to 114 intubated, 12 dead

EODY announced 1,211 new cases of coronavirus in our country in the last 24 hours.

It is noted that as Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced earlier today, the areas of Thessaloniki, Larissa and Rodopi pass to “level 4”.

The announcement of EODY:
Today we announce 1211 new cases of the new virus in the country, of which 47 are associated with known outbreaks and 35 were detected following checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 35510 , of which 55.2% are men.

4043 (11.4%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad and 12843 (36.2%) are related to an already known case.

114 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation. Their median age is 65 years. 34 (29.8%) are women and the rest are men. 91.2% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are 70 years of age or older. 284 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 12 more recorded deaths and 615 deaths in total in the country. 234 (38.0%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 79 years and 96.3% had some underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
