Coronavirus: 2,013 cases, 607 intubated, 101 dead

EODY announced 2,013 new cases of coronavirus in Greece in the last 24 hours.

For the first time in weeks, the number of intubated patients is not increasing in our country, as today 607 patients are intubated, compared to 608 on Thursday .

Today we announce 2013 new cases of the new virus in the country , of which 14 were detected following checks at the country’s gateways. The total number of cases is 101287, of which 53.1% are men.

4865 (4.8%) are considered related to travel from abroad and 26718 (26.4%) are related to an already known case.

607 of our fellow citizens are being treated by intubation . Their median age is 65 years. 169 (27.8%) are women and the rest are men. 79.7% of intubated patients have an underlying disease or are aged 70 years and older. 538 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

Finally, we have 101 more recorded deaths and 2102 deaths in total in the country. 842 (40.1%) women and the rest men. The median age of our deceased fellow citizens was 80 years and 97.0% had some underlying disease and / or age 70 years and over.
