Coronavirus: 57 new deaths, 9,308 (27 in Kefalonia & 3 in Ithaca) cases, 334 intubated in Greece today

The new laboratory-confirmed cases of the disease (individuals) recorded in the last 24 hours were 9,308.

The total number of people who became ill amounts to 3,216,256 (daily change + 0.3%), of which 49.0% are men.

The number of possible new infections recorded in the last 24 hours was 176 while since the beginning of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic the total number is estimated at 119,722 (3.6% of the total number of positive results).

The new deaths of patients with COVID-19 are 57, while since the beginning of the epidemic a total of 28,406 deaths have been recorded. 3 95.4% had underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.

The number of patients treated by intubation is 334 (64.7% men). Their median age is 70 years. 92.5% have underlying disease and / or age 70 years and older.

Among intubated patients, 183 (54.79%) are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated and 151 (45.21%) are fully vaccinated. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 4,544 patients have been discharged from the ICU.

The admissions of new COVID-19 patients in the hospitals of the territory are 245 (daily change -20.71%). The average seven-day admission is 307 patients.

The median age of cases is 36 years (range 0.2 to 112 years), while the median age of death is 79 years (range 0.2 to 106 years).
