Coronavirus Greek daily update – 71 new cases today and 17 deaths in total

With the traffic ban already in place, Greece is moving at the pace of the deadly virus. The first fines were dropped on citizens who were provocatively indifferent.

So as of today, Monday 23.03.2020, there is a strict ban on traffic and the first fines have already fallen after some … are still doing their “head”.

Meanwhile, today, Monday 23.03.2020, there is also the regular update on the “map” of the virus in our country, with the spokesman of the Ministry of Health for coronavirus, Professor of Infectious Diseases Sotiris Tsiodras, taking his … usual position.

The first to take the floor was Health Minister Vassilis Kikilias, who referred to the government’s operational plan to tackle the deadly virus.

He also thanked both the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Sotiris Tsiodras for his contribution to the “battle” to put a brake on the spread of coronavirus in Greece.

Afterwards, Mr. Tsiodras announced that there are 71 new cases in our country, with the total number being 695.
