A search of turtle nests at Spasmata Beach last afternoon led to the release of at least 14 newborns trapped in the nest after the others had hatched.
The volunteers released them in a controlled manner to the sea to begin their new life and showed the right way to record the data while ensuring the largest number of pups could safely find their way to the sea.
