Lekka: The phenomenon is evolving smoothly
The earthquake was felt in areas of the Peloponnese and Sterea Hellas, but mainly in Athens, due to the direction of the east-west slopes in the Corinthian Gulf, the chairman of OASP Professor Efthimios Lekas told APE-MPA.
The phenomenon is evolving smoothly according to the data so far, Mr. Lekkas noted. Scientists are watching it, but it will take two to 24 hours to see if it is the main earthquake, he said.
