Education: What happened to the problem in distance learning – Absences will not be taken into account

Sofia Zacharaki attributed the problems presented today in distance education to a technical issue of the company .

Speaking to ERT, the Deputy Minister of Education noted that “due to a technical issue of the company (s.s. Cisco) students were not able to do their homework today”. At the same time, he pointed out that the absences for the students will not be counted today, as they tried but failed to enter their online classroom.

As the Undersecretary noted, the company is taking the necessary steps in order to resolve the technical issue that arose, which, as she said, concerns Europe in general.

Finally, he stressed that the Panhellenic School Network and in general the platforms of the Ministry of Education operate normally.

The system has been a problem throughout Europe
The Webex system presented problems at a pan-European level, which was also reflected in the map with Webex connections.
