EFET: Withdrawal of white brine cheese from cow’s milk sold by LIDL

The FSA and particularly the Regional Directorate of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, at regular checkbox withdraw white cheese from LIDL.

The EFET, recently recalled by Roquefort , has requested and has already begun controls on the immediate withdrawal of all batches of white cow’s milk broth, under the trade name FRESCO, in 900-gram plastic containers, 1 kg. 2kg each, produced by the company: HELLENIC DAIRY SA, 5th km of Trikala – Portal EO and sold in Greece by the company: LIDL HELLAS & SIA OE, due to complete lack of registration of the country of origin as required by the milk legislation in order to avoid misleading consumers.

The products were labeled abnormally labeled and the withdrawal was made by the producer company to list the information required by the country of origin legislation in accordance with the milk purchase and supply data and production of finished products.
