The Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan does not seem to comply, since even yesterday, 100 years from the start of the second phase of the Genocide of Pontian he continued his provocative statements.

More specifically, the Turkish President from Samsun spoke of genocide against the Turks. Erdogan’s specific statements were made on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the Struggle of Independence of the Turks by the Greeks and their allies in 1919.

It is reminded that the recorded Greeks of Pontus who found tragic death amount to 353,000 thousand, while others are missing and displaced .

“No Genocide has been recorded,” Erdogan says
“There has been no Genocide, no tyranny and no action to make this nation feel shameful” despite the enormous pain and loss experienced by Ottomans and Turks in the last two centuries, as Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.

“The greatest genocide in history was perpetrated against our nation when the Ottomans withdrew from the Balkans,” he said, continuing: “While the Ottomans in the First World War fought bravely on four fronts, they struck us in the back. We were once again lost millions of women, children and old people. ”

“No mistake on the part of Turkey”
Continuing his provocative statements, Recep Tayyip Erdogan has argued that Turkey has not committed any mistakes like the enemies, but only pushed those who betrayed them.

“The greatest answer we gave to betrayal was to expel them. Despite the evidence of history and recordings in the archives, those who blame us for over a century have been persistently overlooking the persecution of our people, “Erdogan said.

“Every day we get attacks”
Subsequently, the Turkish President claimed that even today Turkey is being attacked by all sides. “When they find an opportunity trying to break us apart, when they find an opportunity out of the way, they try to encircle us,” he said.

“The wave of attacks on security and the economy is not over yet. Every day we are spoiled by a trap that is set up – inside or outside – against our country. We are renewing our determination for a stronger future, “concluded Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
