Extension of the measures for the coronavirus for one week – The new Government Gazette, in detail everything that is valid

The decision with the measures that are valid from Monday, January 17 at 6:00 until Monday, January 24 at 6:00 was published in the Official Gazette .

As announced by the Ministry of Health from Wednesday, January 12, the Committee of Experts decided, after a meeting, to extend the measures.

In the new Government Gazette, published on Friday, January 14, the emergency measures to protect public health from the risk of further spread of the coronavirus throughout the country, are valid for the period from Monday, January 17, 2022 at 6:00 to Monday , January 24, 2022 at 6:00 p.m.

Access to public services, banks and retail shops for the public
The public enters after a mandatory demonstration at the entrance:

[a] vaccination certificate, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9 or

[b] disease certificate, in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 9 or

[c] confirmation of a negative diagnostic test for COVID-19 coronavirus (PCR or rapid test), in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 9.

Minors from four (4) to seventeen (17) years old may, alternatively, submit a negative self-diagnosis statement (selftest), in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 9.

Absolutely urgent cases are excluded from the application of this point, in particular access to police stations, which cannot be postponed.

Especially for banks , the public enters after a mandatory demonstration at the entrance:

[a] vaccination certificate, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9 or

[b] disease certificate, in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 9 or

[c] confirmation of a negative diagnostic test for COVID-19 coronavirus (PCR or rapid test), in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 9.

Minors from four (4) to seventeen (17) years old may, alternatively, submit a statement of negative self-diagnosis (selftest), in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 9. Compliance with this obligation is checked by the bank.

Also, especially in supermarkets, it is mandatory to use a mask of high respiratory protection (FFP2 or N95) or alternatively a double mask (surgical and fabric).

The measures in places of catering and entertainment
Operation of businesses licensed for a health care store and providing in- house catering services , including in-store shops, indoor malls and long-distance stations, only as pure spaces, exclusively for the fully vaccinated or ill in the last quarter according to 2 and 3 of Article 9, only for seated persons, in compliance with the measures of points 1, 3, 4 and 5 of Table A, subject to the conditions of avoiding overcrowding and the distances of tables and hygiene rules of Annexes 2 to 4, which form an integral part hereof and under the following conditions:

a ) Possibility of operation from 05:00 to 00:00.

b) Prohibition of music.

c) Up to six (6) people per table.

d) Disinfection of lists during the rotation of customers at the tables.

e) Mandatory use of a mask, in accordance with the specifications of point 1 of table A, by the staff, as well as by customers when arriving, leaving and moving within the store. Especially the staff wears only a mask of high respiratory protection (FFP2 or N95) or alternatively a double mask (surgical and fabric).

f) Customers enter after a mandatory demonstration upon entry:

vaccination certificate, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9 or disease certificate, according to par. 3 of article 9.

Operation of businesses, in open space , that have a license for a store of health interest and provide catering services, only for sitting, in compliance with the measures of table A, subject to the conditions of avoiding overcrowding and the distances of tables and hygiene rules to Annexes 2 4, which are an integral part of this and with the following sanitary conditions:

a) Possibility of operation from 05:00 to 00:00.

b) Prohibition of music.

c) Up to six (6) people per table.

d) Disinfection of lists during the rotation of customers at the tables.

e) Mandatory use of a mask, in accordance with the specifications of point 1 of table A, by the staff, as well as by customers when arriving, leaving and moving within the store. Especially the staff wears only a mask of high respiratory protection (FFP2 or N95) or alternatively a double mask (surgical and fabric).

f) Customers enter after a mandatory demonstration upon entry:

vaccination certificate, in accordance with paragraph 2 of Article 9, or disease certificate, in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 9 or confirmation of a negative diagnostic test for coronavirus COVID-19 (PCR or rapid test), in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 9.
Minors from four (4) to seventeen (17) years old may, alternatively, submit a negative self-diagnosis statement (selftest), in accordance with paragraphs 3 and 4 of article 9.

The protection measures that apply to all activities

1): in all interiors, including workplaces, excluding those who work in a private space without the presence of any other person, b) in all outdoor spaces, unless otherwise stated in specific protocols provided in special provisions hereof.
The following are excluded from the obligation to use a mask:

(a) persons for whom the use of a mask is not indicated for medical reasons demonstrated by appropriate documentation, such as due to respiratory problems; and

b) children under the age of four (4) years.

2. Keeping distances of one and a half (1.5) meters between individuals [one (1) person per 2 sq.m.] indoors and outdoors, either pure for fully vaccinated and sick during the last trimester or mixed, where not provided larger area per person in the individual forecasts hereof.

3. Placement / use of an alcoholic solution with a content of more than seventy percent (70%) for hand antiseptic.

4. Obligation to post in a document or digital way in a visible place the rules of operation of shops and businesses, including the maximum number of people allowed to be inside the space.

5. Ventilation of the premises in a natural or artificial way in application of the elements D1 (d) / GP.oik.26335/23.4.2020 and D1 / GP.oik.81816 / 18.12.2020 of the circulars of the Ministry of Health
