Feedback and images from Yesterdays Olive Oil workshop in Argostoli

A very beautiful workshop I had the luck to attend yesterday afternoon in argostoli.
In particular, the chamber of commerce of kefalonia-Ithaca organised a workshop on olive and olive oil, good practices for good olive oil.
Speakers Mrs Katsoulis Maria and Mr Stergidēs Constantine, responsible for Athena Iooc.
These speakers mentioned at the beginning extensively and generally the world production of olive oil, mentioned in Greek Olive Oil, talked about good olive cultivation practices, its care, its harvest, the correct process of olive oil and, of course, the final storage of olive oil. In the end, we had the opportunity to try – the right way mrs katsoulē gave us – some of the internationally produced olive oil from other countries.
Admit it was an amazing experience that bound all the attendees.
Points in my view, the absence of olive oil professionals from our islands from this workshop and what bothered me most the complete absence of a representative of the union of kefalonia Ithaca, who – also have 2-3 olive oil – although they were invited We have been showing this workshop. Let the world draw their conclusions.
Personally a big thank you to the organizers of this project, as well as to the speakers for the experiences we have received. I hope that in future we will see more of these workshops in our country, because really only through continuing training will every producer be able to make use of their product.
