The first Full Moon of the year made its appearance in the sky on Tuesday night, with the spectacle being unique. This full moon has been named “Full Moon of the Wolf”.
The January full moon reached its peak in the early hours of Tuesday (1:48 a.m.). However, the moonrise began to appear about 24 minutes before sunset.
The January full moon was named the “Wolf Moon” because wolves howled at the moon at this time of year. The wolves howled more during the winter because of hunger.
