Greece Emergency weather report updated: Where will the -8 beauforts hit today and tomorrow?

Heavy rains and storms that are already occurring in many parts of the country, will affect

TODAY SUNDAY (13-12-2020)

a. Crete, the Dodecanese, the Ionian Islands from Cephalonia and further south, the western Peloponnese, the Cyclades, from the afternoon the eastern Peloponnese, the islands of the eastern Aegean and from the evening, the eastern Sterea, Thessaly and Sporades.

At night the effects in the Ionian and western Peloponnese will weaken

ON MONDAY (14-12-2020)

a. The eastern and southern Peloponnese, eastern Thessaly (mainly Magnesia), the Sporades and the islands of the eastern Aegean until noon.

b. Eastern Sterea, Evia, the Dodecanese and at times the Cyclades, until late in the afternoon.

c. Crete from noon until late at night.

Stormy north winds of 8 Beaufort will prevail on Monday (14-12-2020) in the Ionian, the northern Aegean and gradually in the rest of the Aegean.

Looking at the modelling from HNMS as you can see below the beaufort 8 appear to be staying well offshore locally to Kefalonia
