Greek coronavirus daily update 60 new cases and a total of 68 dead overall

 

Sotiris Tsiodras announced a total of 1,673 cases of coronavirus in Greece. The death toll is also rising. 

Four more were recorded today and all hope that a brake will be put on the spread of the deadly virus after the government’s strict measures.

In the meantime, the standard information on the “map” of the virus in our country is in progress, with the representative of the Ministry of Health for the coronavirus, professor of infectious diseases Sotiris Tsiodras, taking his usual position.

More specifically, Mr. Tsiodras announced that there are 60 new cases of coronavirus in Greece. The total number of cases in our country is 1,673, with 55% of them involving men.

He also stressed that 9 more deaths were recorded, bringing the total number of dead in our country to 68. 19 were women and all the other men, with an average age of 74 years.

343 of the cases are related to travel, while 592 are related to an already known case. At the same time, 92 of our fellow citizens are being treated for intubation at the age of 66 and 20 of them are women (the rest are men), while more than 70% of all have an underlying disease.

Finally, 10 of our fellow citizens were discharged from hospitals.
