Greek coronavirus update – 31 new cases today and now 99 dead overall


Sotiris Tsiodras informed about the new cases of coronavirus in Greece, with the total number now amounting to 2,145. Another death making a total of 99.

Today is Holy Monday, April 13, 2020, and Sotiris Tsiodras is making the start of the announcements, with the Prime Minister taking the baton at 19:30.

All this while the list of deaths is increasing in Greece and Easter is now a “breath away”, with the government wanting to see the citizens be “restrained” so that there is no going back.

The professor of infectious diseases, therefore, said that there are 31 new cases of coronary heart disease in Greece, with the total number now amounting to 2,145 and 56% of them are men.

“In the last 48 hours the battle with the virus is being judged in even more detail,” said the infectious disease professor, adding that 73 of our fellow citizens remain intubated, with an average age of 68, while 17 are women and the rest are men. 81% of them have an underlying disease or are elderly.

16 have been discharged from hospitals, while according to Sotiris Tsiodras, one more death was recorded, with the total number of this “black” list being 99 names.

Finally, it was reported that this daily update will continue until Holy Thursday, while it will resume on Easter Monday.
