Greek Daily coronavirus update – 7 new cases and no further deaths today

Sotiris Tsiodras informed about the “map” of the coronavirus in our country, which now counts a total of 2,408 cases. 121 people remain dead in Greece, with no recorded deaths in the last 24 hours. 55 intubated in ICUs.

Mr. Tsiodras informed about the pandemic, at a time when in our country all the messages are encouraging and already the discussions for the return to normalcy – even with slow and steady steps – have “caught fire”.

No new deaths

More specifically, the representative of the Ministry of Health for the coronary artery and professor of infectious diseases, announced that there are only 7 new cases of the deadly virus in Greece and a total of 2,408.

Most importantly, no new deaths have been reported in the last 24 hours , which means that the list still has 121 names.

56% of cases involve men, with 373 being related to travel abroad and 1,124 with an already known case.

55 of our fellow citizens are being treated in the ICU, with an average age of 67 years. 15 are women and the rest are men, while 86% had an underlying disease or are over 70 years old.

Finally, 51 of our fellow citizens were discharged from the hospitals, while the total number of tests performed is almost 60,000.
