Green light anticipated for German travel to Europe from June 15

The green light for the German summer vacation in Europe seems to be given by the German government.

According to the DPA news agency, the government plans to lift the travel warning that effectively bans German travel around the world on June 15. This emerges from an official document of the news agency, entitled “Criteria for facilitating intra-European tourism”.

The plan allows travel to other EU countries, as well as Iceland, Norway, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Liechtenstein, provided that the epidemiological situation in each country allows it. That is why it is desirable to take relevant decisions at EU level as well.

The plan is due to be presented to the cabinet tomorrow, Wednesday.
