KAT’s raise an amazing €570 at the first winter sale in Katelios

Thanks to everyone who came to the KATs book sale in Katelios today.
We were hoping for a good crowd and you didn’t disappoint us – it was lovely to meet lots of people from out of the area, we hope to see you again!!

Today we raised €570,61, a fantastic amount, which included donations of €45, plus bag of change from Karen Boosey which totalled €25,31 – thanks to you all!

The money will go to help the KATs neutering programme, which I know is running short of money due to a shortage of tourist donations. Unfortunately, there is a never-ending number of kittens and animals that need our help!

Apologies to those who missed out on the ‘bacon butties’ – I did say ‘first come, first served’!
We’ll bring more bacon next time. Just a few pictures from today and thanks for everyone wearing their masks.

Considering the new restrictions which are coming into force on Tuesday 3rd November, gatherings will not be allowed for a month and so I cannot give you a date for the next book sale.

We’ll have to hope everyone follows the measures and we’ll be able to meet again soon.
