Rainfalls from time to time occur on our island from the afternoon / evening hours of Thursday which will continue until the early hours of Saturday while in the area of Ainos we will have some snowfall.
During Saturday in terms of phenomena we will have an improvement while the winds will turn from northwest directions and will strengthen to 7-9 Beaufort, transporting cold gas masses with the consequence that the temperature will start to drop.
Towards the evening hours of Saturday and until the first hours of Sunday there is a 50-60% probability of some passage of rain and snowfall or snowstorm in the mountainous parts of our island ( approximately 700-800m altitude and above ).
Lower down some sleet or snow hail is not excluded.
On Sunday, sunshine will prevail with the winds showing some weakening while there will be an alternation from northeast directions.
The maximum temperature at the weekend in the coastal areas will range from 9-11 degrees Celsius while the minimum from 4-6 degrees Celsius .
At higher altitudes of course the thermometers will show much lower values.
Today’s data show that on the two days Monday-Tuesday there will be a recurrence of the cold with the result that the temperature will fall even more with very low values throughout the day ( maximum values of 7-8 degrees Celsius in the coastal areas ).
If during Monday we have another passage of phenomena we will see better in the next 24 hours.
