Klimatsias is the small beach near the village of Spartia, in the former municipality of Livathos. It is located in the southern part of Kefalonia and is sandy, but with many rocks even in the sea.

One of these underwater rocks is called “stichero” by the locals, as its perforated surface refers to a “living” organism!

The waters in Klimatsia are deep blue and the smooth, impressive rocks on the right of the beach delimit the bay. The ground is vertical and to reach the beach, the visitor must leave his car on the road, in a specially designed area, and go down the small slope to the bottom.

In the area above Klimatsia there is a thicket with pine trees, where you will find a very good restaurant and cafe. Otherwise, the beach is unorganized, without umbrellas and sunbeds, so you have to take care of everything you need.

If you choose to come to Klimatsia in the afternoon, the beach is shaded by the rocks and you do not need an umbrella.
