Kranidi: At least 100 cases in the hosting structure – N. Hardalias: There is no reason to panic

More than 100 are confirmed cases of coronavirus in the immigrant accommodation structure in Kranidi, after the first results of the checks carried out yesterday.

A meeting is currently being held at the City Hall of Ermioni in Kranidi with the participation of Mayor Giannis Georgopoulos and Regional Governor Panagiotis Nikas, in order to assess the situation and further measures will be announced.

It is noted that yesterday, a group of EODY headed by the President of the Organization Panagiotis Arkoumaneas and Professor Sotiris Tsiodras went within the operational plan of the Ministry of Health to deal with the spread of the case of COVID-19 cases in the specific structure. Checks were carried out on 470 beneficiaries as well as on the employees of the Kranidi Health Center, the IOM and the structure. Also, detailed instructions were given for the restriction of the spread of the disease and the proper functioning of the structure based on the EODY protocol.
