Lidl Greece: Entry ban to those customers who do not wear a mask

Lidl Greece is taking an additional precautionary measure to protect the health of customers and employees in its stores .

Lidl Greece now explicitly forbids the entry of those customers who do not wear a mask in its stores. Children under the age of three and people with medical problems, such as respiratory problems, are excluded from the measure.

The measure, which focuses on the protection of both customers and employees of Lidl Hellas from possible spread of the disease, comes into force on Monday, August 24, 2020 and will apply to the entire network of 225 Lidl Hellas stores.
From the first day of the Covid-19 pandemic, the company has taken all the necessary measures to prevent the transmission and spread of the virus, while continuing to provide continuous information on the health and safety of all those present in the stores in full compliance with the legislative and state requirements.

The fact that Lidl Hellas is the first food retail company in Greece to receive Covid Shield certification, at the highest level “Excellent” from TÜV AUSTRIA Hellas.

With determination and responsibility, Lidl Hellas is constantly moving forward with new initiatives and additional measures to protect public health, ensuring a safe tomorrow.
