As we know, Greek banks charge commission on ATM transactions only if they are made by the network of another bank than the one in which the customer is the customer. However, for the common use of bank ATMs indiscriminately by all Greek customers, banks had an interbank agreement to charge low fees.
Thus, it was decided yesterday that each bank will charge all customers of other banks from abroad with its own “francs” and this will also apply to Greek customers who are customers of a bank will use ATMs for their transactions.
This means that there will be no charges for customers who will use their bank’s ATMs network for cash withdrawals.
