What will apply from Monday?
The first protection measures are the use of a protective mask in all indoor areas including workplaces and in all outdoor areas where congestion occurs.

In public transport for long-distance travel, in education, in workplaces (public and private), in places of worship, in retail in hairdressing salons and in open dining areas, the use of a mask is necessary and a covid pass will be checked. What applies to retail?

The General Secretariat for Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development and Investment has announced to the consumer public and to the catering, retail and entertainment companies that from Monday, November 22, 2021 the following are valid:

  • In nightclubs, indoor restaurants, theaters, cinemas, museums, exhibitions, conferences, gyms and stadiums, only those who have been vaccinated or within the last six months COVID-19 disease for adult fellow citizens.   • Children from 4 to 17 years old have access to those of the aforementioned areas allowed the presence of minors, and only if they have undergone self-diagnostic self-test within the last 24 hours respectively before their presence in the area. Children up to 4 years old have access without control.
  • In supermarkets, grocery stores (such as butchers, fishmongers, bakeries, patisseries and wineries) consumer access is possible without control. How to control customers in companies

Unvaccinated or non-sick patient attendants are subjected to a laboratory test (PCR or rapid test) within 48 hours before entering a public or private primary care facility, including public and private clinics.

Fully vaccinated or ill patients in the last six months undergo a laboratory test (PCR or rapid test) within 48 hours before entering any other public or private health facility.

Unvaccinated or non-vaccinated patient attendants undergo laboratory testing for COVID-19 by PCR within 48 hours prior to entry into any other public or private health facility.

In the above cases, the results of laboratory tests are confirmed through the special application Covid Free GR. Excluded from the above obligations are the escorts of patients who come to the Emergency Department.

Patients attending a public or private health facility for examination are not subject to laboratory testing for COVID-19.
