This year, throughout the summer, the campaign of the Independent Public Revenue Office, entitled “Apodixi Please”, continues.
“Welcome to Greece! We want to let you know about your rights as consumers, “ says the Independent Public Revenue Office campaign.
The campaign runs in the advertising spots in the arrivals lounges and next to the luggage pickups of all major airports in the country (Athens, Thessaloniki, Chania, Mykonos, Santorini, Corfu, Rhodes, etc.), but also on major overseas sites, via google.
With a photo of a typical Greek landscape and a cash register receipt next to it, the following is mentioned in English:
“A photo is proof of a memory. Request a receipt for your payments.
Welcome to Greece! We want to let you know about your rights as consumers. All hotels, restaurants and shops are required to accept debit / credit cards. You are not required to pay unless you receive proof. So ask to pay by card. Ask for your proof.
Just say #Apodixi_Please ”
