Covid19 controls for this Summer whilst holidaying in Greece – PLF
It is widely recognised Greece handled the pandemic well earlier this year and is now in a position to reopen its borders for safe tourism this season with some additional control measures to protect the local community and tourist alike.
The PLF form ( Passenger Locator Form)
The reason for this form is to allow the Greek authorities to check the origin (where you live) of all passengers arriving in Greece so they can evaluate who needs testing by consideration of your UK post code and the associated covid load in that area. It also provides your contact details in Greece should they need to contact you after a positive test or if you have been in close contact with someone who has been tested positive.
IT IS MANDATORY THE AIRLINE WILL REFUSE TO LET YOU BOARD THE AIRCRAFT IN UK UNLESS YOU HAVE COMPLETED ONE ( this must be a minimum of 24 hours beforehand but best to do it a week beforehand).
Link to form here
Process
- Transportation type (most will select aircraft)

Hi – I’m flying to Kefalonia. A few queries
1. For city shall I put Kefalonia?
2.Our Villa doesn’t have a street name – what should I put in this section? The Villa name again?
3. We are travelling in a group of 6. 5 are my family, 1 is a friend. Should she fill out her own form?
thanks
1 – no put nearest city eg Spartia, Lourdas , Fiscardo
2 – villa name
3 – family on one PLF and friend on a seperate one
Hi I’m getting lots of mixed messages about the PLF form and how many to fill in!
We are flying to Kefalonia with Easyjet from Manchester on the 11th August. I have completed one PLF for myself as lead passenger, my partner and our 2 children. Lots of people seem to be filling out individual forms for all family members because airlines have requested QR codes for all of them. Do we really need to do this or can we stick with the one form and one QR code for us all ?
Thank you
one form and QR code for a family is fine
Hi, I’m travelling to Kefalonia on Monday with my husband. I initially completed the plf about three weeks ago and my husband did a separate one but then we got an email from Jet2 today with a link to the form saying one per family/household so he amended his to add me to his. Can I somehow delete my old one or will my husbands just over ride my original one? Thanks Kat
it will override the previous one and be fine, just after 10pm UK time Sunday it will arrive, have a great trip
I am flying to Greece with my partner, we share the same address but have a different last name (not married). Are we required to fill another form out, one for each of us or stay on the same form, selecting family member or selecting None family member / none same household.
Thank you
Hi I will be entering Greece by Flying to Corfu Airport and then boarding a cruise ship, do I only fill out the form for for the flight or for each port that we dock at?
In Greece I am ferry hopping and so will be staying in 4 different hotels, but on the plt you can only put in 2 addresses for your “temporary address” does anyone know what I do?
Can you clarify the number of passengers allowed in a car please. The FCO are now stating a maximum of 3 passengers plus driver. We are a party of 4 and have booked a Fiesta sized car, is this OK?
Thank you so much for posting this information, I had no idea about addresses/postcodes so it was invaluable
What do I do if myself and my husband are double vaccinated, but my daughter isn’t. There’s no option on the form to submit two different forms of evidence. I know she will need a negative PCR test, but there’s no way to choose two different forms of evidence.
I’ve completed the form with myself in mind and said I’m double vaccinated, but there’s no way to add my daughters details.
