Repairs to English built water tank (1835) at Ithaca castle underway

One of the most important works projects on our island was launched, the repair of the 5000 cubic water tank in the castle that due to damage has been inactive for 11 years.
The amount of repair amounts to the amount of 100,000 euros from the ministry of interior, solving a major problem in water storage.
The photo below shows the perfect construction by the English in 1835.
