Rodi Kratsa – Sworn in as Governor of The Ionian islands

My swearing-in as the Ionian Islands Regional Officer and swearing-in to the members of the Regional Council

A day of emotion and responsibility for our commitments and the expectations of our fellow citizens.

    Dear friends in Kefalonia,
We hope you are well. I would like to send love and best wishes from the UK. My family and I had to cancel our visit last summer and it looks like we will have to also cancel this Summer due to the current Covid situation. How we miss your beautiful Island and people, and long to come back as soon as you are able to welcome us again. We hope you have recovered from the recent storms and flooding. You always stoically repair and carry on and are truly inspirational.
With love to all, Julie Morgan

    Dear Friends,
With much sadness, I have also today cancelled our planned trip for summer 2022. We have visited Kefalonia and Zante for many many years prior to Covid. Unfortunately being not ‘fully vaccinated’, means we will no longer be able to spend time in the place and with the people we love so much. This is a huge loss to us personally, and to the economy of the islands. I wish you all well, and hope that this futile ruling doesn’t significantly impact your lives and business’s.
