This winery is on your right as you approach Avithos beach, we had the pleasure to meet Panos who also manages  The Avithos Preview Taverna a few weeks ago and his passion for the winery and the Avithos area was very evident and his wines are getting excellent reviews at present inluding being listed in some top Athens wine bars not to mention numerous awards.

We would recommend visiting the winery during your visit to Kefalonia, Panos is planning to open early May this year for wine tasting and some snacks will also be available.

Following the tasting should you wish to purchase some wine he can either arrange delivery to UK or elsewhere or it can be bought in airport duty free shop when you are past liquid quantity restrictions!
