Tax Office hours Changed – The service hours are extended

The Independent Public Revenue Authority is extending the opening hours of the Tax Offices until late in the afternoon, during the lockdown, in order to better serve the citizens in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Specifically, with a decision of the commander of AADE , George Pitsilis, from today Monday, November 23 , the Tax Offices operate as follows:

Entrance hours for the public (for scheduled meetings only) and telephone service: 08.00 – 17.00
Cash transactions: 08.00 – 15.00
The Tax Offices will operate from 7.00 to 19.00.
Between 17.00 and 19.00 only calls to the secretariat of the Tax Office for the scheduling of meetings are served.
It is noted that the trading public arrives at the Tax Office only by appointment and if their request can not be satisfied otherwise. To avoid co-morbidity and limit the spread of the coronavirus, four shifts are created for employees, as follows:
07:00 – 15:00
08:00 – 16:00
09:00 – 17:00
10:00 – 19:00
The total number of employees in the service building at the same time may not exceed 67% of the total number of staff serving in that service. The rest of the staff works remotely.

The afternoon shift staff work remotely during the first four hours of the shift (10:00 – 14:00) and in person for the rest of the shift (15:00 – 19:00).
