The first part of #See_Kefalonia is over – Greek Instagrammers visited and photographed the island

# See Kefalonia 01/10 – 05/10/2020

On Monday 05/10/2020, the first part of #See_Kefalonia was completed with great success   , a four-day photo that aims to highlight the beauties of Kefalonia through social media. The island hosted 12 famous Greek Instagrammers who visited and photographed a large number of the natural beauties of our island. In the main hashtag of the campaign #See_Kefalonia and in our account @Kefalonia_island_greece were published and will continue to be published for a long time photos and videos of Kefalonia.

For the organization of #See_Kefalonia we would like to thank especially Dionysis Kaminaris manager of @wu_greece who was an active contributor and one of the inspirers of this effort as well as the following organizations and companies that with their offers helped in its perfect implementation.

Specifically

  • The Municipality of Lixouri and the Municipality of Sami
  • The Hotel Owners Association of Kefalonia and Ithaca and especially the hotels, AENOS HOTEL, AGGELOS HOTEL, ALLEY HOTEL, KEFALONIA GRAND HOTEL, MIRABEL HOTEL, MOUIKIS HOTEL.
  • The Association of Food and Related Professions of Kefalonia and Ithaca “O ARKESIOS” and especially the restaurants KALAFATIS in Argostoli, AKROGIALI in Lixouri, TASIA in Fiskardo, and PASPALIS in Skala.
  • The shipping companies IONIAN P LINES, IONIAN SEA FERRIES and LEVANTE FERRIES
  • The travel agency KATSOURIS TRAVEL
  • The AEGEAN gas station in Kokilia.

The #See_Kefalonia will be completed in the summer of 2021 by organizing a photo exhibition about Kefalonia, where the best pictures from this campaign will be presented.
