The information Majorkini-Hardalia-Kiosks and mini markets closed at night in the “red” areas

The information of the Ministry of Health on the coronavirus is in progress , with the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection and Crisis Management Nikos Hardalia and the Assistant Professor of the Medical School of EKPA and

The assistant professor of the Medical School of EKPA noted that 163 cases of coronavirus are recorded today in Attica, 18 in Trikala, 11 in Thessaloniki, 6 in Ioannina and 4 in Kalymnos.

The global coronavirus pandemic is a cause for concern
Mr. Majorkinis noted that the pandemic is a cause of concern worldwide. As he said, what is needed at the moment is a balance of the epidemic until we get to the vaccine. In addition, the professor stressed that globally, a common place is to avoid lockdown, while the penultimate measure is the closure of schools.

For another day, the Commission notes that the second wave of diagnoses in Greece remains alarmingly active. In addition, according to Gika Majorkinis, our fellow citizens who lose their lives every day exceed 5 per day. Although this number was not confirmed today, 9 deaths were recorded yesterday. Finally, Mr. Majorkinis stressed that there is a small reduction in the number of intubated, but we must expect to see what will happen.

Attica remains the epicenter of the coronavirus
Attica continues to be the epicenter of the pandemic, said Mr. Majorkinis. The professor referred to the conduct of a rapid test in the center of Athens, in Vathi Square, America and Kypseli. As he said, 600 rapid tests were performed until 16:00 and of these we had 6 positives, 4 Greeks and 2 foreigners.

The profile of coronavirus deaths remains the same. Gikas Majorkinis also made an interesting observation about the percentage of deaths on diagnoses, which seems smaller than the first wave. Scientists are examining the possibility that the virus mutates into a less deadly one, which probably means more contagious.

However, Gikas Majorkinis stressed that there is no such evidence to prove such a case. The lower rate of death is due to extensive testing – more tests – and we must consider the coronavirus to be equally deadly and dangerous.

The flu vaccine and coronavirus test
Gikas Majorkinis noted that it is extremely important to protect vulnerable groups, for everyone to keep their self-protection. Finally, the professor noted that the instructions for vaccination have not changed, no negative test is required to perform it and there is no scientific reason for this.

Koronovios: Closed kiosks, wineries and mini markets from tomorrow until midnight
The new measures for dealing with the coronavirus pandemic were announced by the Deputy Minister of Civil Protection, Nikos Hardalias.

In order to reduce the pandemic, the government decided to restrict the operation of retail stores from midnight until 05:00 in the morning. According to information, in the briefing of 6, together with Professor Gika Majorkinis and the Deputy Minister of Health Vassilis Kontozamanis, Nikos Hardalias will announce new measures to stop the spread of the coronavirus in Attica, where the biggest problem is focused.

Specifically, according to information, it will announce that kiosks, wineries and convenience stores will close at 12 midnight and 5 at dawn. The purpose of the measure is not to sell alcohol in order to reduce the crowds in the squares, where young people gather with the closing of the shops. This measure was preferred to the ban on the sale of alcohol in kiosks as it was considered that there would be difficulties in controls.
