“The Key to Happiness ” is a film shot in 1953, entirely in Kefalonia. 

Based on the book of Paulina Petrovac is a film before the 1953 earthquake Kefalonia involving important artists like titos vandis (first film appearance), the George Campanella , the Notis Pergialis  (first film appearance), the Municipality Starenios while the music is written the most important Argyris Kunadis . 

The film is a unique documentary that records elements of Kefalonia’s history such as songs and songs , landscapes (Katavothres, Argostoli, Poros, Livathos etc.), the Kefalonia scenery and more.

The film aired in the 1952-1953 season.

The scenario

The dreamer Froso, as it is called in Argostoli, lives in the cottage de la Freta, along with a crazy artist, Giannakis , and a twisted elder, Vasilakis – both are relatives of Sioras – Marietta. Froso is in love with Sior-Panagis, Marietta’s nephew, but her mother, who does not know her feelings and wishes for her recovery, looks forward to a good marriage with the wealthy Captain-Nicolas.
