It is still trapped with no food or water up a 20-30 meter fir tree with no available low branches. The fire service as well as a council height vehicle attempted a rescue
I went down to see for myself today and found the cat still up the tree. Unfortunately the tree is on a private ground with a big German shepherd at the bottom like he was waiting for a chance to kill the cat if he could.
The cat can cross to another 2 trees but still faces a deadly fall.
We need help from anyone who has a suggestion to bring the cat safely down.
There was a large crane to attend tomorrow but could not get close enough because the road is too narrow. I believe stretching an olive net and spraying the cat with a hose may bring the cat down into the net but the dog owner must be asked to keep it in ??
Anyone with better suggestion ????
