Tragedy in Patras today when a 29-year-old father of three was found dead inside a burning house.

According to thebest (greek online news channel) , a fire broke out early in the morning on Aginoros Street in the Willows of Patras. A 29-year-old man was found dead after a fire extinguished on the ground floor of a two-storey house in the area.

Early evidence indicates that the fire started in the front of the house. According to information, the young man (a coffee chain worker in Patras and father of three) went to the back of the house to avoid the fire. There, however, the shutters of the house were electric and because the power had been cut off, they did not open, so they did not open. He was trapped inside the house and lost his life.

The unlucky 29-year-old was trapped inside his home. Investigations into the exact cause of the fire that resulted in the 29-year-old’s death are continuing.

The most likely cause of the fire that broke out at the 29-year-old’s home was a lit cigarette in the front of the house.

During the same operation, three of the firefighters involved in the firefighting had to be given oxygen because of the carbon inhalation of the hermetically sealed house. The 29-year-old was home alone.
