Unfortunately, Peter Hicks was admitted to Argostoli Hospital on the 5th May for treatment. I am not at a liberty to talk about his medical condition but am glad to advise that at this stage he is responding positively to medication. Bell and myself visited Peter tonight and he is now in a better position to receive visitors.
His medication is ongoing and the fantastic staff at the hospital are closely monitoring his progress. A few others have visited Peter but we have tried to keep matters private until his family in the UK were made fully aware of Pete’s condition and progress.
Sadly, the lockdown in the UK currently makes a visit from Pete’s family extremely difficult if not impossible but we are keeping them informed of developments.
Pete is on the second floor, ward 220 and visiting hours are between 6pm and 9pm.
It would be great if more of Pete’s friends can pop in and say ‘hello’ as this would perk him up greatly and hopefully speed up his recovery.
One visitor at a time can stand by his bedside and a mask is required. Fingers crossed that Pete makes a full and speedy recovery. Many thanks
