Update on meeting regarding various archaeological sites in Kefalonia

Today Vice-President of Kefalonia and Ithaca Σταύρος Τραυλός along with the MP Παναγή Καππάτο, Mayor of Argostoli Θεόφιλο Μιχαλάτο and Deputy Mayor Eleiou-pronnoi Νίκο Κουρκουμέλη were in Athens where they visited the minister of culture Ms. Lina Mendoni and discussed archaeological issues of the law with the main topics

  • Reopening of the archaeological museum of Argostoli,
  • The tomb of the Tzannata
  • Sami Museum
  • The operation of castles
  • The Roman mansion of Skala

The debate took place in a very good climate and there will soon be further developments in these very critical issues.

The political delegation then visited the building infrastructure where with the project manager discussed the problems of school housing in the prefecture.

Vice said the pin’s intention to directly finance some new school buildings and asked for the help of the ktyp in the preparation of the studies.
