Vaia (pronounced ‘vie-ya’) in production for Orthodox Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday kicks off the Holy Week. It’s the day in the Easter calendar that marks the arrival of Jesus to Jerusalem. 

The vaia.
Are baskets or decorations made from Palm fronds and other plants and flowers being prepared to be taken to church for Palm Sunday celebrations.
