Vassilis Giogiakas: “When will the granting of a temporary A.M.K.A. for vaccination? “

For the time of approval of the applications for granting a temporary A.M.K.A. In order for people who do not have a Social Security Registration Number to be vaccinated, Vassilis Giogiakas asks the Ministers of Health and Digital Government. The MP from Thesprotia states that, one month after the voting of a provision for the possibility of granting, upon request, a temporary A.M.K.A. exclusively for the planning of the coronavirus vaccination, it is unknown whether the administration of temporary A.M.K.A. to individuals belonging to the current priority population groups for vaccination. The text of the Question is as follows:

SUBJECT: “Approval of applications for temporary A.M.K.A.”

Article 248 of Law 4782/2021 (Government Gazette 36 A ‘/ 9-3-2021) provides the possibility to any natural person who does not have a Social Security Registration Number (AMKA) or Temporary Insurance Number and Health Care of an Alien (PAAYPA) to apply through the online service emvolio.gov.gr for the provision of a temporary A.M.K.A., exclusively for the planning of the vaccination during of the coronavirus and the issuance of a vaccination certificate. The Ministers of Labor and Social Affairs, Health, Digital Governance and Immigration and Asylum are also authorized to determine by a joint decision the specific categories of eligible persons, the time of deactivation of the temporary A.M.K.A. and any other related details.

About a month after the enactment of the above provision, it is unknown whether the provision of a temporary A.M.K.A. although they have submitted a relevant application.

After that, Ministers:

– The granting of a temporary A.M.K.A. has started. in accordance with the provisions of Article 248 of .4872 / 2021 and, if not, when it is expected,
– If a temporary A.M.K.A. is already granted, what is the average waiting period, from the submission of the relevant application until the granting provided the application is approved.

    None the wiser after reading that. Shambles. Why not just use existing residency cards for heaven’s sake.

      Frustrating maybe, a shambles NO. All is being controlled via AMKA because this holds all your information with age, diseases, locations and more that needs to be place to provide a transparent vaccination process where demand at the moment outweighs supply.They have now made inclusive those residents who di not have an AMKA and continue to vaccinate over 50000 people a day in an above average roll out of vaccine for EU countries.
