Waterfall at Gradous (pictures)


The enchanting Canyon of Gradous a kefalonia Winter delight
At the southern part of the island, near Poros is the canyon of Gradous. The wider natural landscape of the area may have been devastated by the 2007 fires, but fortunately the canyon, which holds water until the end of August, and its magnificent nature remained intact.

The Gradous waterfall is about 18 meters high and the waters come from the Asprogeraka and Anninata areas.
Grados waterfalls are located between Skala and Poros. 

There were older gardens with fruit trees at the springs and due to water prehistoric settlements along the river.
