The weather in our country is expected to change significantly from Wednesday afternoon and from the southwest.
According to Open Meteorologist Clearcho Marousakis , a barometric low off the coast of North Africa is expected to be organized in the Gulf of Sirte and as it moves east it will cause severe weather in our country capable of causing many problems.

1. Heavy rains and thunderstorms that can even cause flooding are expected on Wednesday afternoon in the western, central and southern parts of the country. The areas of the central Ionian Sea, the Peloponnese, Sterea, Thessaly, Crete, the Cyclades and the east-southeast Aegean are highlighted.
2. Very stormy east winds will prevail in the western mainland and need special attention. Stormy northeast winds will also prevail in the northern Aegean.
3. Heavy snowfall will occur in mountainous areas of the mainland. Indicative altitude of 1500 meters or more.
4. Heavy rainfall will also occur in the Prefecture of Attica and flood preparedness is needed in the vulnerable areas.
